Obituary – Mr. Mirza Karim, President Commissioner, PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan (2019-2024)

PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan announces with deep sorrow that Mr. Mirza Karim, Members of the Board of Commissioners of PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan for the period 2017-2024 and President Commissioner of PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan for the period 2019–2024, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Mr. Mirza Karim was widely recognized as a distinguished legal practitioner, particularly in the fields of finance and Islamic banking. Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the practice and development of law across various sectors, including finance and Islamic banking, natural resources and energy, corporate law, investment, alternative dispute resolution, and labor law.

His professional journey was also marked by his membership in the Indonesian Advocates Association, as well as his role as an arbitrator at the National Sharia Arbitration Board and mediator at the National Mediation Center.

Beyond his practice, he was deeply dedicated to education and the advancement of the legal profession through numerous publications, journals, and research activities.

During his tenure as Member of Board of Commissioners and  President Commissioner of PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan, Mr. Mirza Karim played an active role in providing strategic guidance and recommendations, while ensuring oversight with integrity to support the company’s sustainable growth.

His exemplary conduct, leadership, professionalism, and dedication will forever be remembered as a model and source of inspiration.

The Shareholders, Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, Management, and all Employee of PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan extend their deepest condolences to his family, relatives, colleagues, and the wider legal community.
