CLIK Supports Muhammadiyah Through Social Contribution and Financial Inclusion

Depok, 17 July 2026 – PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan (CLIK), Indonesia’s licensed credit bureau, participated in the Muhammadiyah Leadership Series Seminar and Social Action, organized by Majelis Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Sosial (MPKS) Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah. CLIK supported the event through a corporate donation to Muhammadiyah’s social initiatives, alongside a discussion on financial inclusion and the role of Indonesia’s credit bureau ecosystem in expanding responsible access to financing.

Creating a more inclusive economy requires collaboration between financial institutions, community organizations, and industry leaders. By working together, these stakeholders can help more individuals and businesses participate in the formal financial system and gain access to financing that supports sustainable growth. Through its participation, CLIK reaffirmed its commitment to both community empowerment and a stronger financial ecosystem.

Financial Inclusion Begins with Greater Visibility

Indonesia has made significant progress in expanding access to financial services. Even so, many individuals and businesses remain underserved because they have limited financial records or insufficient information to support credit assessments. Without a more comprehensive financial profile, lenders may find it challenging to fully understand a borrower’s financial capacity, making responsible lending decisions more difficult.

As a licensed credit bureau, CLIK supports financial institutions by providing reliable credit information that enables a more complete understanding of borrowers — helping them make better-informed lending decisions while creating broader opportunities for individuals and businesses to access financing.

“Many Indonesians are still invisible within the formal financial system due to limited data. Through data integration, we aim to help them build stronger credit histories, creating greater opportunities to access financing that matches their financial capacity and needs. This is an important step toward building a more inclusive credit ecosystem,” said Lucky Herviana, Commercial & Business Director of CLIK.

Credit bureaus contribute to this process by improving transparency, strengthening trust, and supporting a healthier lending environment across Indonesia, enabling more people to participate in the formal economy while helping lenders make informed credit decisions.

A Shared Commitment to an Inclusive Financial Ecosystem

For decades, Muhammadiyah has empowered communities through education, healthcare, social welfare, and economic development, a long-standing commitment that shows how collaboration can create meaningful, lasting social impact. Through its donation and participation in the seminar, CLIK combined social contribution with industry expertise, supporting both Muhammadiyah’s community initiatives and the broader conversation on financial inclusion in Indonesia.

As Indonesia continues advancing financial inclusion, collaboration between financial institutions, community organizations, and industry stakeholders will remain essential in creating greater opportunities for individuals, businesses, and communities to grow together. Looking ahead, CLIK remains committed to strengthening Indonesia’s credit information ecosystem, working alongside partners across sectors who share the same vision of a more inclusive and financially resilient society.
